Pumpkin Patch

The kids got two visit the pumpkin patch two times this year. It was Evan's best day when we went last year. It didn't disappoint this year either. Our front porch is now decorated with the pumpkins we picked out. Trey carved a Larry Boy pumpkin for the kids. I love this time of year!

Andie's 2nd Birthday

Our sweet little girl has turned two! She has such a sweet, very girlie personality. She loves kitty cats, making any animal noise, baths, any kind of play where she can get dirty, her Bible class, Veggie Tales, and anything Evan likes. Her favorite foods are all vegetables. Which could explain why she ranks in the 3rd percentile compared to ther 2-yr-olds in the weight category. She had a very fun Veggie Tale themed birthday party. We had a trampoline, bouncy house, all of her favorite foods, and we played pin the super suction ears on Larry Boy. She probably had no idea all the comotion was for her.

Buddies

Having kids as close in age as mine are, has it's challenges. But a priceless reward is the bond Evan and Andie have. I really noticed their attachment when Evan turned 2, and Andie one year old. She follows him where ever he goes. Usually they are squealing with laughter, chasing each other up and down the hall. Common words spoken are "Andie - you want to play trains with me?" Andie, already in a trot to the room,"Yeah!" (She is only allowed to play with the coal car - but she's ok with that for now.) Yes, there is occasional biting and hitting. But they are so sweet when the hug and say sorry.

Thank you so much to Noel for setting this blog up for us.....a year ago. Yes, it has taken me that long to figure it out. I hope to keep up with this. We received these pictures today. They are what inspired me to start blogging. Everyone is well here. Evan loves school and especially loves having his daddy home from Nicaragua. Andie is adorable - yet having an inner struggle with the terrible two's. Dean is just precious. Here goes nothing...
